An elegant antique floor lamp has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Victorian Rose Lamé Shadowbox silk lampshade. This shade is ombré dyed from sage green to violet and has a shadowboxes on both sides that feature gilded early 1900 silk damask and lame rose motifs over a richly patterned gold antique metallic lace. The sides of each shadowbox feature bronze heavyweight antique lace trim that frames the center panels. The shade is covered on the sides with quintessential 1920s Art Deco lamé fabric with beautiful florals in rose, deep rose, black, dusty blue and green and woven with gilded gold metallic threads.
The shade has extra long dramatic hand beaded fringe in beautiful matching tones with flower drops. A beaded pull chain with an antique Czech glass faceted drop adorns and illuminates the lamp. An antique 1920s era finial tops the piece. This lamp really comes alive when lit.
Overall height is 63 inches to the top of the finial.
