Beautiful and unique antique floor lamp with scroll motifs has been hand painted with colorful detailing and holds a hand-dyed Passage to India Peacock silk lampshade. The shade is warm golden brown to turquoise to teal and is covered with a wonderful group of patterned and gilded antique textiles and embroideries. Some highlights include the opulent antique teal and gold lame around the cuff as well as the front and back panels which are framed by beautiful ornate bronze antique metallic lace that creates a "passageway" to the center which also features a trio of vintage and antique appliques. These include Zardozi peacocks, silk lotus motifs and a metalwork beaded ornament.
The shade has long hand-beaded fringe in matching tones of gold, turquoise, green and teal. The bespoke strands feature a mix of glass and metal beads. An ornate beaded pull chain turns on the lamp. An incredible jeweled peacock lamp finial with a 1920s-era faceted glass drop tops the piece.
Overall height is 65 inches to the top of the finial.
Shade dimensions are approximately 15x 22 inches.
