An extremely unique, very early star shaped metal table lamp with unusual flower and bouquet motifs has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed style Gothic Star silk lampshade. The shade is dyed from deep red to midnight teal and has been artfully covered with an assortment of antique textiles including antique metallic net lace, heavy Juliet mesh and a jeweled trim around the top cuff. Both center panels are overlaid with old and rare Spanish appliqués circa 1800s with beautiful old-world Gothic motifs. The shade has hand-beaded fringe in red, golds and greens and lights up beautifully!
Overall height is 29 inches to the top of the finial.
